Mall of America in Bloomington changes aimed at luxury buyers
The Mall of America is getting a $5 million facelift in an audacious bet that luxury shopping is on its way back.

Many upscale stores, including Burberry, Bose, Coach, Tumi and Tommy Bahama, inhabit the southwestern half of the mall, between Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. The bulk of teen apparel and related stores are located in the north and east.

But, Graiser cautioned, "there's a perception that the Mall of America is not considered a real high-end community.
